Vera Tinoco
Founder and Director
Founder & Director, Vedanza
She began dancing at six years old, training in ballet, jazz, and contemporary. While her career led her to earn a PhD in Biochemistry and work internationally, dance remained a constant part of her life.
After moving to San Diego, she became deeply involved in the dance community and began teaching, developing a passion for helping students learn and grow. This eventually led her to found Vedanza and build a strong local dance community.
As both an instructor and a parent, she focuses on creating a structured and supportive environment where children can build confidence, develop coordination, and grow through consistent training.
